As you continue to build your financial plan, you realize you need some long-term goals to help you budget. Think about the type of lifestyle you envision – where you want to live, whether you want to work part-time, and so on. In a one-page information sheet, write your long-term goals and briefly describe the steps you will take to meet those goals.
Your information sheet should include:
- At least five long-term goals specific to your own life situation. For example, at what age would you like to retire? Formulate concrete steps you would need to take to achieve these goals.
- Make sure to use audience specific language and tone on your information sheet. You will be sharing this with family.
- Be creative and make your information sheet fun and organized. Use the full page.
