In this assignment, you will be creating a Snapchat story portraying the different perspectives of people in the American colonies, right before the American Revolution.  These people include loyalists, patriots, merchants and businessmen, slaves, women, and any others that you choose.  All of these groups played important roles as the Revolution approached.  Create a snap for each group, as if a member of that group had created it, using images of the time and appropriate captions.  Then, use Screen Record to make a video of your story and works cited (I used Notes on my phone to create the works cited page, by copy-and-pasting the Internet links into a note).

Remember, this is an Internet assignment, and I expect you to use the Internet to do research.  I also expect you to cite your sources when you use them; the works cited page is not optional.  Ordinarily, it would not be a good idea to use history.com or Wikipedia or the like, but they actually can be an acceptable source for images, so this time you may use them.

Here is an example a member of our department created.  You’ll notice they did not include any video or audio; however, you can if you like.

If you’ve never used Screen Recording, it is a feature of smartphones.  How to do it differs between different kinds of smartphones (iPhones, Androids, etc), so your best bet is just to google how to do it.  There are many online tutorials.
